The Saint-Fiacre Chapel garden sale in Cabellou

Each spring, the Saint-Fiacre Le Cabellou association organizes its garden sale within the grounds of Saint-Fiacre Chapel, in Cabellou, Concarneau. Under a large professional marquee, individuals and professionals offer plants, shrubs, seeds, garden tools, pottery, and garden furniture, as well as all sorts of second-hand items. The event runs from 9 am to 6 pm and welcomes many exhibitors.

Saint-Fiacre Chapel and Le Cabellou

The Saint-Fiacre Chapel is a typical Breton place of worship, nestled in the wooded coastal site of Le Cabellou, a green peninsula southeast of Concarneau. Saint Fiacre is the patron saint of gardeners in the Catholic tradition, giving this garden sale a particularly well-chosen symbolic dimension.
