Neighborhood car boot sale in the green alleys of La Héronière, near Parc des Gayeulles in Rennes
The Saint-Laurent car boot sale stands out for its exceptional setting: the pedestrian paths of the Héronière gardens, a stone's throw from the Parc des Gayeulles, offer a green and peaceful backdrop for a day of outdoor thrifting. Exhibitors, residents of the Saint-Laurent, Gayeulles, Maurepas, Patton neighborhoods and surrounding areas, set up their stalls along the shaded alleys. You can find clothes, toys, books, trinkets, and everyday items at low prices.
Organized by a collective of residents, the Cercle Paul Bert Gayeulles, and the Longs Prés community center, this car boot sale is a true local event. It is reserved for residents and immediate neighbors of about fifteen streets and neighborhoods in the northeast sector of Rennes. The spot is offered at a symbolic price of 2 euros for 4 linear meters, making the event accessible to all.
The Parc des Gayeulles, Rennes' largest green space with its 100 hectares, is a popular walking and leisure area for Rennes residents. The Saint-Laurent car boot sale benefits from this proximity: after thrifting, visitors can extend their walk in the park, enjoy the bodies of water, playgrounds, and wooded trails. An ideal combination for a family Sunday.
