The Pézenas Car Boot Sale: Treasure Hunting for the Animal Cause

The Cordeliers car park in Pézenas (34120) hosts a car boot sale that combines the pleasure of treasure hunting with a solidarity commitment. Organized by the association Les Chats de la Butte, dedicated to animal protection, this event brings together 50 to 100 private sellers offering clothing, toys, tableware, small furniture, books, DVDs, and everyday items. The proceeds from stall rentals are donated to the association's activities: veterinary care, sterilization, and rehoming of the town's stray cats.

The Cordeliers car park, accessible via the Chemin Bas de Montagnac, is located on the edge of the historic center of Pézenas. After the car boot sale, visitors can easily walk to the town's medieval streets, browse the windows of the antique dealers housed in Renaissance mansions, or sit at the cafes on Place Gambetta. Pézenas, the town of Molière and its sweet pâtés, is well worth a longer visit.

Practical Information

The car boot sale takes place outdoors from 8 am to 5:30 pm. A refreshment stand is available on-site, as well as toilets. The outdoor parking is free. Entry is free for visitors. Next date: April 19, 2026.
