Lentillac-Saint-Blaise is a village in the Lot (46100), located in the Figeac region, on a plateau between the Lot and Célé valleys. This Limargue area, between limestone and sandstone, offers varied landscapes: chestnut groves, vineyards, meadows, and panoramas of the surrounding valleys. The village retains a rich architectural heritage with its medieval castre, its castle redeveloped until the 19th century, and its numerous hamlets (Labat, Le Puech, Polzes, Lacaze) bearing witness to centuries of agriculture and viticulture.

A Car Boot Sale in the Heart of the Village

The Lentillac-Saint-Blaise car boot sale is held at 246 route du château, in the heart of the village, in a shaded and green setting. Exhibitors - mainly individuals - set up from 6:30 AM to welcome the first visitors who arrive from 7:30 AM. The day continues until 5 PM, giving bargain hunters plenty of time to stroll and find a good deal among clothes, books, toys, crockery, tools, and trinkets.

Program and Catering

The day begins for exhibitors at 6:30 AM with a welcome coffee. Visitors can arrive from 7:30 AM. Catering is available throughout the day: breakfast from 8 AM, lunch based on tripe and veal head (by reservation), and refreshments available all day. Entry is free for everyone. A typically rural and Quercy atmosphere prevails throughout the event.

Lentillac-Saint-Blaise belongs to the community of communes Grand-Figeac - Haut-Ségala - Balaguier d'Olt. Figeac, a remarkable medieval town (about twenty kilometers away), is the cultural and economic center of this sector. The Célé valley, classified among the most beautiful valleys in France, is accessible from the village. Rocamadour, Conques, and the Lot gorges are among the tourist sites within driving distance.

Access

Lentillac-Saint-Blaise is accessible from Figeac (about 20 km east) and from Cahors (about 60 km west). Parking is available in the village.
