The La Chineraine site hosts a highly popular annual flea market in Chignin (73800), one of the most famous wine-producing villages in the Combe de Savoie. This outdoor event, starting at 7am, attracts hundreds of bargain hunters from across the valley.

Chignin enjoys national renown thanks to its appellation wines, notably Chignin-Bergeron, a dry white wine made from the Roussanne grape, considered one of the jewels of Savoyard winemaking. The village is backed by the foothills of the Bauges massif, offering striking views over the Isere Valley.
