Charity car boot sale at the Parc de la Maison de Rencontre

Every September, the village of Myans hosts a charity car boot sale in the beautiful Parc de la Maison de Rencontre. Organised for the benefit of the Hospitalité Notre-Dame de Lourdes, this event combines the pleasure of bargain hunting with a generous cause: helping sick and disabled people make their pilgrimage to Lourdes.

An enchanting setting at the foot of the Granier

The Parc de la Maison de Rencontre provides an exceptional backdrop. Set below the imposing Granier mountain and its spectacular cliffs, the tree-lined park hosts sellers in a serene, green atmosphere. Myans is also renowned for its AOC vineyard producing the famous Apremont white wine.

Treasures in the service of a good cause

From 6am to 5pm, visitors browse the park paths seeking bargains: clothing, books, toys, crockery, ornaments, furniture, decorative items and many more second-hand treasures.

The Hospitalité Notre-Dame de Lourdes is a charity that supports sick, elderly and disabled people on pilgrimages to Lourdes. Proceeds fund transport and accommodation costs.
