Large car boot sale organized by CHL Terre et Mer on Place du Cuirassé Courbet, over 300 exhibitors
For over twenty years, the association CHL Terre et Mer (Cresserons Hermanville Lion) has been organizing a car boot sale in Hermanville-sur-Mer which has become one of the unmissable events for bargain hunting on the Calvados coast. With over 300 exhibitors, the event offers a considerable choice of items on the vast Place du Cuirassé Courbet, in the heart of the village.
Hermanville-sur-Mer is a coastal commune in Calvados, located between Ouistreham and Lion-sur-Mer on the Côte de Nacre. The resort played an important role during the D-Day landings on June 6, 1944, and the Place du Cuirassé Courbet — named after the French warship — bears witness to this. Bargain hunting in this historic setting, a stone's throw from the sea, gives the event a very special atmosphere.
The event is open to individuals and professionals, which guarantees a very diverse offering: furniture, tableware, trinkets, clothing, toys, old books, decorative items, tools, and curiosities of all kinds. Catering is reserved exclusively for the organizers, who offer drinks and light refreshments throughout the day.
Spaces are offered at a rate of €5 per linear meter, with an additional charge of €6 per vehicle parked at the stand (minimum 5 meters to book). Reservation is mandatory with the association CHL Terre et Mer. The success of the event — now in its 37th year — means you need to register well in advance.
