Car Boot Sale and Cabbage Soup 2025 — Sunday, August 10
On Sunday, August 10, 2025, the center of the village of Les Estables came alive for its annual summer car boot sale. The ACCA of Les Estables organized this convivial day held on the Place du Mézenc, with breathtaking views of the Mézenc volcanoes and Gerbier-de-Jonc.
Exhibitors and visitors came and went throughout the day, enjoying the cool altitude and the exceptional setting of this mountain village. The day culminated in the evening with the serving of cabbage soup from 7 PM in the community hall. This Auvergne culinary tradition, generous and rustic, brought together participants and villagers in a warm evening typical of the spirit of Les Estables.
