The Vide-grenier du TBSMB: sport and solidarity in Saint-Maurice-de-Beynost

The Twirling Bâton de Saint-Maurice-de-Beynost (TBSMB) organizes a car boot sale every year on avenue Maurice Cusin, in partnership with the young firefighters (JSP) of the town. This associative event brings together between 200 and 300 exhibitors in a friendly and supportive atmosphere, with profits supporting the sports and civic activities of both associations.

A popular event on the outskirts of Lyon

Saint-Maurice-de-Beynost, a town in the Côtière de l'Ain region located about twenty kilometers northeast of Lyon, benefits from a large population base that ensures the success of this car boot sale. Avenue Maurice Cusin offers a pleasant outdoor space to host the hundreds of stands, while the proximity of the A42 motorway facilitates access from Lyon and surrounding towns.

Two hundred to three hundred exhibitors

The car boot sale welcomes both individuals and professionals, guaranteeing a wide variety of items: clothing, toys, books, dishes, small furniture, tools, decorative objects, and trinkets of all kinds. Visitors appreciate the size of the event, which allows them to spend several hours rummaging through the stalls in search of bargains.

Refreshments and catering

Volunteers from TBSMB and JSP provide refreshment and catering services throughout the day. It is also an opportunity to discover these two associations that actively contribute to the associative life of Saint-Maurice-de-Beynost: twirling baton, a sports and artistic discipline, and young firefighters, a civic training for teenagers.
