The 2025 edition of the Pré des Moines car boot sale was held on the 1st Sunday of August in Goudet. The exceptional site on the banks of the Loire welcomed its usual exhibitors in the magnificent setting of the natural cirque of Goudet, at the foot of the ruins of Beaufort Castle.

Pré des Moines Car Boot Sale 2025
The first Sunday of August 2025 once again saw the Pré des Moines in Goudet transform into a huge open-air market. More than two hundred exhibitors set up shop at dawn in this vast meadow on the banks of the nascent Loire, offering a considerable selection of second-hand goods, antique furniture, tableware, books, and collectibles.
The beauty of the site — the Loire flowing between the basalt cliffs, the ruins of Beaufort Castle in the background, the pure air of the Velay — contributed to the special atmosphere of the day. Families, collectors, and casual strollers wandered through the aisles of the car boot sale, enjoying the refreshments and catering available.
