The 2025 edition of the Vide-Greniers du 1er Mai de Varilhes was held on Thursday, May 1st, 2025, in the town centre of Varilhes. Review of the 2025 edition
On May 1st, 2025, the commune of Varilhes hosted its traditional annual car boot sale, taking advantage of the Labour Day public holiday to bring together exhibitors and visitors in the town centre. This spring treasure hunting day, held every May 1st by the Ariège river, once again attracted many participants from Bas-Ariège and the surrounding areas.
The stalls set up in the streets and squares of the town centre offered a wide assortment of items: clothing, toys, books, crockery, furniture, and trinkets. The tradition of the May 1st car boot sale in Varilhes continues, combining spring celebration and circular economy in this dynamic town in Bas-Ariège. The 2026 edition will be held on Friday, May 1st.
