The 14th of July Car Boot Sale at Lac de Bournazel

Every 14th of July, the Lac de Bournazel car park in Seilhac comes alive with a large car boot sale that kicks off a full day of festivities. From 8 am to 7 pm, private sellers offer their second-hand items to early morning bargain hunters and strollers, in a green setting by the lake. Clothes, toys, crockery, trinkets, books, and a thousand curiosities are displayed on the stands, offering great opportunities for finds at low prices.

Spit-Roast Pig and Fireworks

The car boot sale is just the prelude to a full festive day. In the evening, the spit-roast pig dinner brings together guests and families around long, convivial tables. The firework display over Lac de Bournazel is the highlight of the national holiday in Seilhac, offering a pyrotechnic show reflected in the calm waters of the lake. The DJ party at the guinguette extends the festivities until 10:30 pm.
