Montgeard, Bastide of Lauragais
Montgeard is a commune of 555 inhabitants located in Lauragais, about 45 km south-east of Toulouse. A former bastide founded in the Middle Ages, the village retains its characteristic layout with its main street, the Rue de la Bastide, and its pink brick houses typical of Lauragais. Perched at an altitude of 280 meters on a hill overlooking the surrounding countryside, Montgeard offers beautiful panoramas of the Lauragais hills.

The 16th Montgeard Flea Market (Vide-Greniers) will be held on Sunday, June 14, 2026, from 8 AM to 6 PM, in the bastide of Lauragais (Haute-Garonne). Organized by the Amicale Culturelle de Montgeard, this annual event brings together individuals and bargain hunters around various objects, clothes, toys, trinkets, crockery, books, and small furniture.

Stand prices
- 1 € per linear meter for residents of Montgeard
- 2 € per linear meter for external exhibitors
Registrations can be made at Montgeard town hall at 05 61 81 34 74.
On site
A refreshment stand and catering are available on site throughout the day. An exhibition of paintings and sculptures is offered in parallel with the flea market, adding an extra cultural touch to the event.
