The car boot sale of Saint-Médard de Bonnefond is a village event that celebrates the patronal feast of Saint Médard, in early June. In the hamlet of Chadebec, exhibitors set up their stalls in a rural setting, at nearly 800 meters altitude, on the Millevaches plateau.
The originality of this car boot sale lies in its particularly advantageous rates: the first 3 meters are free for individuals, then the rate is 2 euros per additional meter. Professionals pay 2 euros per meter from the first meter. Registrations must be made before June 1st.
From noon, a rural meal is served under a marquee, bringing together exhibitors, visitors and villagers for a moment of sharing. Musical entertainment sets the rhythm for the afternoon, creating a festive and warm atmosphere.
