On Sunday, May 18, 2025, the rue des Forges de Pellerey in Curtil-Vergy hosted the annual car boot sale organized by the Comité des Fêtes. From 6 am, private exhibitors set up along this picturesque street in the Hautes-Côtes de Nuits, enjoying the free coffee offered by volunteers to start the day well.
Visitors, welcomed from 8 am, strolled between the stalls offering various objects, clothes, toys, tableware, and trinkets. The intimate atmosphere of this human-sized car boot sale, with fewer than 50 exhibitors, encouraged exchanges and good deals. The refreshments and food, accepting credit card payments, allowed everyone to eat in this exceptional setting.
The village of Curtil-Vergy, dominated by the remains of the Château de Vergy and its panoramas of the Burgundian hills, provided a remarkable backdrop for this spring treasure hunt in the heart of the Hautes-Côtes.
