Every May 1st, the association Le Renouveau de Saint-Hubert organizes a car boot sale in the rue de l'Église in Courcelles-lès-Semur. This event, now in its 21st edition, has become a must-attend gathering for bargain hunters in the Auxois and northern Côte-d'Or regions.

An event rooted in May 1st tradition

The choice of May 1st, a public holiday, guarantees a large turnout of visitors from Semur-en-Auxois, Montbard, and the surrounding villages. The rue de l'Église transforms into a long line of stalls where individuals and exhibitors offer everyday items, clothing, toys, tableware, and various curiosities. Catering and refreshments run by the association's volunteers complete the offering.
