Every spring, the Place du marché des Tarterets in Corbeil-Essonnes hosts the neighbourhood flea market. On Avenue Strathkelvin, between 51 and 250 private sellers set up their stalls for a popular day of bargain hunting in the heart of the Tarterets estate. Corbeil-Essonnes and the Tarterets estate
Corbeil-Essonnes is an Essonne city of around 48,000 inhabitants, 35 km south of Paris at the confluence of the Seine and Essonne rivers. A historic industrial city, it is now undergoing urban renewal under the Grand Paris Sud agglomeration framework.
