Each year, the Soliers sports hall hosts an indoor car boot sale organized by the Caen Sud GR association, the town's rhythmic gymnastics club. Between 50 and 100 private sellers set up their stalls in this vast covered space, offering bargain hunters the comfort of a sheltered location whatever the weather conditions.

Soliers is a town of about 2,000 inhabitants located about ten kilometers south-east of Caen, in the Caen plain. Easily accessible from the Caen ring road, the village combines rural tranquility with urban proximity. The sports hall, located on rue Pierre de Coubertin, is one of the town's major sports and cultural facilities.

A car boot sale for sport

The originality of this car boot sale lies in its solidarity purpose: all proceeds are donated to the Caen Sud GR association to finance the purchase of sports equipment for young gymnasts. Participating as an exhibitor or visitor means supporting local sport while finding great deals.

A practical indoor format

The car boot sale takes place entirely indoors, in the sports hall. Visitors are welcome from 8 am to 6 pm, while exhibitors can set up from 7 am. You can find a classic range of second-hand items: clothes, toys, crockery, books, trinkets, and small furniture. Entry is free for visitors.
