Much-loved Vendée rendezvous combining circular economy, solidarity and social ties. Luçon's adult-only version attracts a loyal autumn crowd seeking quality pieces at reasonable prices. Distinct from a flea market: specialized merchandise, deposit-sale managed by volunteers.
Principle: private individuals deposit clothes in good condition, clean and pressed, a few days before sale. A volunteer committee sorts, tags, displays. On sale day, buyers find clothes sorted by size, category, type, just like in a shop. Unsold items are returned or donated.
