A flea market for rabbits and guinea pigs

Animal welfare has many associations in France, but few dedicate themselves specifically to rabbits and guinea pigs, small companions often abandoned or mistreated out of ignorance. Pinpins Family & Co, based in La Crau, is one of those rare outfits working daily for these animals. Its annual April flea market is a key fundraiser.

What's on offer

Classic flea market fare — bric-a-brac, crockery, clothing, books, toys, small furniture, decor — is enriched with cause-dedicated stands: info on rabbits and guinea pigs, animals available for adoption, merchandise sales (mugs, bags, T-shirts). Donations welcome.

A concrete cause

Funds cover vet care, specific food, housing (cages, setups) and public awareness. Each pitch sold (3m for €12, 6m for €22) and each stand purchase supports the association's boarders.

Hands-on volunteers

Pinpins Family & Co volunteers mobilise weeks ahead: HelloAsso registration, placement, logistics, communication. On the day they welcome vendors from 6am, run the stand and explain their daily work. Their enthusiasm wins loyalty — many La Crau residents return every year.

A strongly identity-bound event
