Annual car boot sale Rue Saint-Martin in Servon-sur-Vilaine, end of August
The Servon-sur-Vilaine car boot sale takes over Rue Saint-Martin and its surroundings every end of August in this town in the eastern first ring of Rennes. A late-summer event popular with Rennes bargain hunters who take advantage of the town's proximity for a last flea market day before school starts.
Every last Sunday of August, Servon-sur-Vilaine (35530) organizes its annual car boot sale Rue Saint-Martin and in the adjacent streets. Exhibitors offer clothing, toys, books, crockery, trinkets, tools, small furniture, electronics, and various other items. Located just 15 km east of Rennes, Servon-sur-Vilaine benefits from a large customer base, with families from Rennes coming in large numbers for this last big flea market of the summer.
Servon-sur-Vilaine, a town of 4,000 inhabitants crossed by the Vilaine river, offers a semi-rural living environment on the outskirts of the Rennes urban area. The village retains interesting heritage around Rue Saint-Martin and the parish church. The car boot sale is part of the dynamic associative life of this commune with growing demographics.
Admission is free. Food stalls offer crepes, sausage galettes, and drinks. Parking is available near the site.
The Servon-sur-Vilaine car boot sale returns on August 30, 2026, on Rue Saint-Martin.
