The big back-to-school car boot sale in the heart of the Belledonne village
The Saint-Pierre-d'Allevard car boot sale brings together around 250 exhibitors each year in September in the center of the village. From 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM, bargain hunters browse the aisles of this large open-air car boot sale, 3 km from Pontcharra and 40 km from Grenoble. The exhibitor spot is €4.50 per linear meter, with mandatory registration. Signposted and arrowed parking. One of the largest car boot sales in the area.
Saint-Pierre-d'Allevard organizes one of the largest car boot sales in the area each September, with around 250 exhibitors spread throughout the village center. The event takes place outdoors and attracts bargain hunters from all over the Grésivaudan, the Combe de Savoie, and neighboring valleys. The diversity and quality of the items offered — clothing for the whole family, toys, crockery and tableware, books, small furniture, gardening tools, vinyl records, winter sports equipment, and trinkets — make it a must-attend event for bargain hunters in the area.
A commune in the Bréda valley, Saint-Pierre-d'Allevard is a foothill village located 3 km from Pontcharra, 20 km from Chambéry, and 40 km from Grenoble and Albertville. At the entrance to the majestic Belledonne chain, the village benefits from a splendid mountain setting while remaining very accessible via the A41 motorway. The village center, with its local shops, town hall square, and lively streets, offers a suitable space to host the stalls of the 250 exhibitors. The weekly Saturday morning market testifies to the commercial dynamism of this town.
With 25 editions under its belt, the Saint-Pierre-d'Allevard car boot sale has established itself and built a loyal following.
