May 1st Car Boot Sale by Amicale Laïque Brusvily-Plumaudan, in favor of RPI schools
Every May 1st, the Amicale Laïque Brusvily-Plumaudan organizes a car boot sale in the center of Plumaudan, at the primary school, Lotissement des Champs d'Oiseaux. This event has a strong solidarity dimension: all profits are reinvested to fund school trips, transportation, and materials for the schools of the RPI (Regroupement Pédagogique Intercommunal) in Brusvily and Plumaudan.
Plumaudan is a small rural commune in the Dinan region, in Côtes-d'Armor, nestled in a hilly landscape of Breton bocage. The commune retains an authentic character with its traditional farms, hiking trails, and green landscapes. The Intercommunal Pedagogical Grouping with the neighboring commune of Brusvily testifies to the associative dynamism of these small Breton rural communes.
The Plumaudan car boot sale hosts between 50 and 100 exhibitors, both private and professional, throughout the day. The atmosphere is that of a village car boot sale, warm and family-friendly, where residents from surrounding communes meet to hunt for treasures and chat. An event that contributes to social cohesion in this Breton countryside while concretely supporting the educational projects of the children in the area.
