The 2025 edition of the Vide-Grenier de Plan-d'Orgon was held in the town center of this Provençal commune nestled on the banks of the Durance. Around 120 private exhibitors offered bargain hunters a wide selection of second-hand items in a friendly atmosphere enlivened by a refreshment stand. This annual event once again brought together families and bargain enthusiasts in this former Templar land, between the banks of the Durance and the first foothills of the Alpilles.
The 2025 edition of the Vide-Grenier de Plan-d'Orgon took over the town center for a day of treasure hunting under the Provençal sun. From the morning, some 120 private exhibitors displayed their treasures on the stalls: clothing, tableware, toys, books, vinyl records, small furniture, and trinkets of all kinds. Visitors strolled through the aisles in search of a good deal, enjoying the refreshments and light catering offered by the organizers.
This annual car boot sale is part of the community and festive life of Plan-d'Orgon, a commune of about 3,500 inhabitants born in 1923 from the separation with Orgon. Located on the banks of the Durance, on the border of Vaucluse, this Provençal village retains charming heritage with its neo-Romanesque Saint-Louis church from 1878 and its Albert Laty arenas from 1906, key sites of Camargue bullfighting culture. Bargain hunters could extend their visit with a walk along the Durance riverbanks or an excursion to the hilltop village of Orgon and the monastery of Notre-Dame de Beauregard, a sentinel overlooking the valley from its rocky promontory.
