Car boot sale at the Peyzac-le-Moustier village hall car park, prehistoric village of the Vézère valley
The parking of the village hall of Peyzac-le-Moustier, located route de l'Abri du Moustérien, hosts a car boot sale organized by Goudou every spring. This treasure hunt event takes place in a village steeped in prehistoric history, which gave its name to the Moustérien period, a culture of the Middle Paleolithic.
Peyzac-le-Moustier is a commune in the Vézère valley, a UNESCO World Heritage site for its prehistoric sites and decorated caves. The village is famous for its Abri du Moustier, a major archaeological site that gave its name to the Moustérien culture associated with Neanderthal man. The Saint-Robert church and the village square offer a picturesque setting for treasure hunting.
One of the particularities of this event is the simultaneous presence of a local producers' market in the morning, from 9 am to 1 pm, allowing visitors to combine treasure hunting with gourmet shopping. On-site catering all day long and coffee offered to exhibitors contribute to the friendly atmosphere of this day.
The village hall car park offers a well-arranged and easily accessible space. The possibility of parking your vehicle behind the stalls facilitates setup and loading for exhibitors. The price of €2 per linear meter remains very affordable.
