The Mougon-Thorigné Car Boot Sale: Browsing in the Niort Plain

Mougon-Thorigné, a new commune created in 2019 from the merger of Mougon and Thorigné, hosts its annual car boot sale in a village festival atmosphere. Exhibitors, mainly private individuals, set up their stalls in the village streets, offering a varied choice of everyday objects, clothing, toys, tableware and small furniture at low prices.

Between the Niort Plain and the Belle Valley

Mougon-Thorigné lies in the Niort plain, halfway between Niort and Celles-sur-Belle. This agricultural territory constitutes the historic heart of Deux-Sèvres.

A Friendly Family Event

The atmosphere is that of village events: relaxed, warm, unpretentious. Children rummage through toy boxes, parents spot clothing and décor bargains, collectors scrutinise trinkets and old tools.
