Annual car boot sale in the village of Mison, on the edge of the Alpine Provence
The aMIS ON association organizes a car boot sale every spring in the streets of Mison. This event enlivens the village and brings together bargain hunters and exhibitors in a friendly village atmosphere, on the borders of the Hautes-Alpes and Alpes-de-Haute-Provence.
Mison is a perched village in the Hautes-Alpes, dominated by the ruins of its 12th-century medieval castle. Located on the border of the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence department, the village marks the transition between alpine and Provençal landscapes. The sunny climate, nearby lavender fields, and olive groves give Mison a distinctly southern character.
Exhibitors offer a wide range of second-hand items: crockery, trinkets, books, toys, clothing, small appliances, tools, linens, and decorative items. The Provençal setting of Mison favors the presence of typical items: pottery, earthenware, garden tools, and local crafts.
The aMIS ON association unites the inhabitants of Mison around cultural and festive projects. By organizing the annual car boot sale, it maintains social cohesion in this small mountain village and contributes to the local life of this southern part of the Hautes-Alpes.
