Every early September, the Louis Conte stadium in Mensignac hosts a back-to-school car boot sale organized by the Foyer Rural. Between 50 and 100 exhibitors, individuals and professionals, set up on the grounds to offer visitors second-hand items, clothing, toys, tableware, and curiosities of all kinds. The early opening at 6 am allows early birds to find the best deals.

Mensignac is a rural commune in Dordogne, located between Ribérac and Périgueux, in the Périgord Blanc. This peaceful village, crossed by the departmental road connecting the two towns, offers a pleasant setting with its meadows and woods. The Louis Conte stadium, the usual venue for sporting and associative events, transforms for the occasion into a large open-air flea market.

Coffee offered and friendly atmosphere

One of the appreciated gestures for exhibitors is the coffee offered from 6 am, a tradition of the Foyer Rural that contributes to the warm atmosphere of this car boot sale. Food available on site allows everyone to spend a full day without leaving the premises. Pitches are offered at 2 euros per linear meter, and exhibitors can keep their vehicles in their space.
