Saint-Cyr-des-Gats is a rural commune of about 400 inhabitants in southwest Vendée, between Fontenay-le-Comte (10 min) and L'Hermenault. 'Le Coq en Fête' association runs an annual festive event combining flea market and activities, with proceeds supporting the local private school and parish.

The 2025 edition took place Sunday 27 July 2025 and was listed on Vendée Tourisme, proof of its place in the local summer calendar.
