The car boot sale in the exceptional setting of Fort de Saint-Père, 450 exhibitors near Saint-Malo
The Fort de Saint-Père offers a spectacular and unusual setting for this annual car boot sale. Built in the 19th century for the defense of the Malouine coast, the fort hosts around 450 private exhibitors each year who set up their stalls along the aisles and in the inner courtyard of the military structure. From 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., visitors wander between the stone ramparts, discovering clothes, books, toys, crockery, decorative items, and curiosities of all kinds. Vendor check-in begins as early as 6 a.m.
The SIVU Animation à la Vie Sociale organizes this car boot sale with the support of the local municipalities. The event contributes to the funding of social and cultural activities offered to residents throughout the year. On-site, a refreshment stand and a food stall allow visitors to eat between finds. Registration is free, and pitches are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, encouraging exhibitors to arrive early.

Its fort, a relic of 19th-century military architecture, dominates the rural landscape and offers a remarkable panorama of the Malouine countryside. Its proximity to the corsair city and the coastline makes it a popular destination for heritage and nature lovers.
