Every August 15th, the étang de la Cazine site in Noth hosts one of the biggest popular festivals in Creuse. The Fête de la Cazine, organized by the Comité des Fêtes de Noth, brings together thousands of visitors for a complete festive program where the car boot sale and flea market play an important role.

The étang de la Cazine, an exceptional setting

The étang de la Cazine is a vast body of water nestled in a green setting between woods and meadows, in the heart of the Marche creusoise. This natural site, frequented by fishermen and walkers all year round, transforms on August 15th into a huge festive space. The car boot sale and flea market stalls are set up along the edge of the pond, offering an enchanting setting for treasure hunting between land and water.

A complete festive program

Beyond the car boot sale and flea market, the Fête de la Cazine offers a rich and varied program: hiking on the surrounding trails, market of regional products and crafts, rides and activities for children, shows and entertainment throughout the day. The midday country meal and the evening dinner bring guests together for barbecues and local specialties, before the traditional fireworks and the open-air dance that conclude this festive day.
