Annual car boot sale of the Fénay Club Pétanque, between Fénay and Domois, with 200 to 300 exhibitors
Every year in May, the Fénay Club Pétanque organizes a large-scale car boot sale between Fénay and Domois, in the southern suburbs of Dijon. With 200 to 300 exhibitors, this event is among the most important car boot sales in the Dijon metropolitan area, attracting thousands of bargain hunters along a long stretch of stalls.
The Fénay car boot sale stands out with its extended hours, from 6 am to 6:30 pm, allowing both early birds and afternoon strollers to find what they're looking for. The rate of 2 euros per linear meter is very affordable for exhibitors, who also benefit from a free coffee upon arrival. Food and drinks, managed by the pétanque club volunteers, offer refreshments throughout the day.
Fénay and Domois are two neighboring towns located south of the Dijon metropolitan area. The route of the car boot sale, stretching between the two villages, offers a long walk lined with stalls in a semi-rural setting, on the edge between the latest constructions of the Dijon suburbs and the first agricultural lands of the plain. Easy access from Dijon contributes to the high attendance of this spring event.
