Flea market and plant sale by the APE in Arith, Bauges Massif
The APE d'Arith hosts its flea market combined with a plant sale at the village school, in the heart of the Bauges Massif. This original spring event pairs second-hand browsing with buying vegetable seedlings, flowers and herbs. A friendly family event in a preserved mountain setting, with very accessible pitch prices (3.50 euros per linear metre).
The APE d'Arith invites families and gardening enthusiasts to an original event combining a flea market and a plant sale at the village school. This spring event has become an unmissable fixture for residents of the Bauges Massif and surrounding areas.
The unique feature of this event lies in its dual offering. On one side, flea market stalls offer clothing, toys, books, tableware and ornaments at low prices. On the other, the plant sale features a selection of vegetable seedlings, flowers, and aromatic herbs to prepare your garden or balcony for the warm season.
Arith is a charming village nestled at 800 metres altitude in the Bauges Massif Regional Natural Park. The flea market takes place in the school yard, surrounded by green meadows and fir forests, with stunning views of the surrounding peaks.
Organised by the Parents' Association, this flea market aims to fund educational projects and school trips for the children of Arith. Refreshments and snacks are available on site.
Take the opportunity to explore the hiking trails from the village, discover the wildlife of the Bauges (chamois, marmots) and taste local cheese specialities, notably the famous Tome des Bauges AOP.
