The 2025 edition of the Vide-Grenier d'Ensuès-la-Redonne was held in the village center of this town on the Côte Bleue, near Marseille. Around 100 private sellers offered bargain hunters a wide choice of second-hand items in a friendly atmosphere enlivened by a refreshment stand. This annual event once again brought together families and bargain enthusiasts in this Provençal village nestled between garrigue and coves, just a stone's throw from the Côte Bleue train.
The 2025 edition of the Vide-Grenier d'Ensuès-la-Redonne took over the village center for a day of treasure hunting under the Mediterranean sun. From the morning, around 100 private sellers displayed their treasures on the stalls: clothing, tableware, toys, books, vinyl records, small furniture, and trinkets of all kinds. Visitors strolled through the aisles in search of a good deal, enjoying the refreshments offered by the organizers and the salty air blowing from the nearby coves.
This annual car boot sale is part of the community and festive life of Ensuès-la-Redonne, a town of about 5,500 inhabitants nestled on the Côte Bleue. Created in 1933, it boasts a coastline divided into five magnificent coves—Madrague de Gignac, La Redonne, les Figuières, petit and grand Méjean—while over 80% of its territory is covered by garrigue protected by the Conservatoire du littoral. Bargain hunters could extend their visit with a stroll to the port of La Redonne, accessible in a few minutes, or take the famous Côte Bleue train from La Redonne-Ensuès station to admire the spectacular panoramas of this railway line crossing 18 viaducts and 23 tunnels.
