On Sunday, June 8, 2025, the Seurre rugby club organized the first edition of its annual car boot sale at the Charles Girardot stadium, 1 rue de Jallanges. Between 50 and 100 exhibitors, both individuals and professionals, set up their stalls from 5 AM on the stadium grounds.
Treasure hunters could browse the aisles from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM, looking for bargains among the items offered: crockery, clothes, toys, books, trinkets, and curiosities. A free coffee welcomed each exhibitor upon arrival, in the friendly spirit of rugby.
Food and drinks, provided by the club's volunteers, as well as a carousel for children, completed the entertainment of this family day by the Saône. Seurre, a former river port town in Côte-d'Or, offered a charming setting for this first event, which promises to become a regular fixture.
