The Vide-Grenier du Le Hom: Between Suisse Normande and Bocage

Every year in June, the association Les Monts du Hom organizes a car boot sale in Curcy-sur-Orne, a delegated commune of Le Hom, in the streets adjacent to the town hall. This event brings together private exhibitors and local artisans for a day of treasure hunting and discoveries in a green setting, at the gates of the Suisse Normande.

Le Hom, a Commune at the Gates of the Suisse Normande

Le Hom is a new commune in Calvados, created in 2016 from the merger of Curcy-sur-Orne, Caumont-sur-Orne, and Thury-Harcourt. Located on the banks of the Orne, at the confluence of the Vire bocage and the Suisse Normande, the commune benefits from a remarkable natural environment. The wooded hills, the meanders of the Orne, and the rolling landscapes make it a popular spot for nature lovers.

An Artisan Market to Complement the Car Boot Sale

The originality of the Vide-Grenier du Le Hom lies in the presence of an artisan and local producer market that complements the stalls of individuals. Visitors can thus, in addition to treasure hunting, discover the flavors and know-how of the Norman region. Catering and refreshments on site, with free coffee for exhibitors, add to the friendly atmosphere of the event.

Information for Exhibitors

The exhibitor fee is set at €2 per linear meter, with the possibility of parking your vehicle near your spot for a minimum of 5 meters to a maximum of 10 meters. Advance registration and payment are required, as places are limited. The car boot sale is reserved for individuals; professionals are not admitted.
