Every May 8th, the village of Saint-Viance hosts a car boot sale organized by the Comité des Fêtes near the communal school. This annual, human-sized event brings together about 40 private sellers in a relaxed and family atmosphere.

An Authentic Village Car Boot Sale

With its approximately 40 stalls, the Saint-Viance car boot sale retains the charm of village events where people take the time to chat and browse at their leisure. Sellers offer the usual fare: clothing, toys, crockery, books, trinkets, small furniture, and everyday items. The price of 2.50 euros per meter makes the event accessible to all occasional sellers.

Saint-Viance, on the outskirts of Brive

Saint-Viance is a residential commune located on the outskirts of Brive-la-Gaillarde, crossed by the Vézère river. This green and tranquil village offers a pleasant setting for a day of outdoor treasure hunting. The school, around which the car boot sale takes place, is the heart of the village.

Drinks and Fries

The volunteers of the Comité des Fêtes provide drinks and offer fries throughout the day. Entry is free for visitors. The event takes place outdoors, taking advantage of the good weather in May.
