A summer flea market in a character village

Méounes-lès-Montrieux, a Var inland village known for its freshness, springs and preserved Gapeau-valley setting between Toulon and Brignoles, holds its annual summer flea market each year. 2025 edition: 31 August 2025, closing the summer season.

This is one of the most awaited Méounes events alongside the Montrieux hamlet flea market in May and the Pitchouns kids flea market in November. Together they form a full annual hunting cycle, each with its own tone: dawn hunt in May, daytime family in summer, children-focused in November.

Format

Morning seller setup, public from 8am, until mid-afternoon. Relaxed Provençal mood, late-August light gilding façades and stalls. Locals and residents of Signes, Belgentier, Garéoult, La Farlède drop by, chat and linger over village terraces.

Via D554 (Signes-Garéoult axis) or D54 from Toulon. Park in adjacent streets. Cash, sturdy bag, hat, water. Village cafés for lunch.

Gapeau valley: gorge swimming, Morières or Siou-Blanc forest hikes, Montrieux Charterhouse (exterior). Toulon, Pradet or La Seyne beaches 30-40 min for an evening swim.
