The Vide-grenier des Remparts of Beauzac

Beauzac is a medieval village in the Loire Valley in Haute-Loire, perched on a rocky outcrop overlooking the river. Its 12th-century ramparts, largely preserved, give it a characteristic silhouette and make it one of the most visited tourist sites in the Marches du Velay Rochebaron area. It is in this exceptional historical setting that the Twinning Committee organizes its Vide-grenier des Remparts every spring.

The Twinning Committee, organizer for decades

The Beauzac Twinning Committee has maintained friendship ties with the Italian commune of Camigliano for many years. This volunteer association, committed to promoting cultural exchanges and Franco-Italian friendship, organizes the Vide-grenier des Remparts as one of its flagship events. Known locally as "Trouvaille des Remparts", the event has acquired a good reputation throughout the Loire Haute-Loire region.

A covered and friendly car boot sale

The Espace de la Dorlière, a modern covered hall in Beauzac, welcomes exhibitors from 7 am for setup. Only small items are allowed: furniture and large pieces cannot be brought, giving the event an intimate character focused on antique objects, tableware, trinkets, and curiosities. The market is open to the public from 9 am to 5 pm.

Controlled exhibition conditions

Table rental (1.20 m) is offered at a price of €5. Registration is mandatory and must be done through the Tourist Office of Marches du Velay Rochebaron (04 71 61 50 74), which guarantees a well-organized event and helps regulate the number of exhibitors. Refreshments and light snacks are provided on-site by the Twinning Committee for exhibitors and visitors.
