Profits support the private school of Beauzac and its educational projects.

The car boot sale-flea market of the Beauzac school

Beauzac is a medieval village in the Loire Valley, in Haute-Loire, famous for its 12th-century ramparts and its panorama over the river. A short walk from the historic center, the Communal de Vaures offers a natural and friendly space that hosts the car boot sale-flea market every spring for the benefit of the village's private school and its APEL.

A spring event at the Communal de Vaures

The Communal de Vaures is a rural space on the outskirts of Beauzac, associated with the Vaures district. Every May, this space transforms into a lively second-hand market where individuals, antique dealers, and enthusiasts gather to sell and buy furniture, tableware, clothing, books, and objects of all kinds. The pricing structure offered — €5 for 2 meters, €8 for 4 meters, then €2 per additional meter — adapts to the size of the desired pitches.

La Boule Riveraine de Vaures and the APEL, partners of the event

The organization of this event is ensured in partnership by the Boule Riveraine de Vaures (local pétanque club) and the APEL of the village's private school (Association of Parents of Free Education Students). This collaboration between local associations guarantees the smooth running of the event and allows profits to be donated to the school. Registrations are made with either association, or via the Marches du Velay Rochebaron Tourist Office.

A flea market in service of the school

As with all events organized by APELs, the proceeds generated from pitch fees and refreshments are used to finance educational projects, school supplies, and educational outings for the students of the private school in Beauzac. The presence of refreshments and food on site ensures conviviality and entertainment throughout the day. This event is appreciated by both the inhabitants of Beauzac and visitors from the region.
