Neighbourhood bargain hunting in the largest South Luberon town
The Luberonnes flea market sets up on Rue des Violettes, in one of Pertuis' residential neighbourhoods. A neighbourhood chine in the image of the South Luberon capital: popular, convivial, open to all. Ideal to combine a walk in this patrimonial town of nearly 20,000 inhabitants with low-price finds.
With nearly 20,000 inhabitants, Pertuis is by far the largest town of the South Luberon. Between the Durance and the Grand Luberon, it combines a remarkable old centre — clock tower, Saint-Nicolas collegiate church, medieval ramparts — with modern residential quarters.
A residential quarter of Pertuis, of which Rue des Violettes and adjacent streets form the heart. Lined with individual houses and modest collective buildings, these streets lend themselves perfectly to a neighbourhood flea market.
Unlike large city-centre flea markets, this one cultivates the neighbourhood spirit. Exhibitors are mostly residents emptying cellars, garages and attics. Bargain hunters are often neighbours and Pertuis families.
Adult and children's clothing, toys, books, tableware, knick-knacks, small furniture, baby items, tools, board games, small appliances, second-hand bikes, decoration.
The 2026 edition of the Luberonnes flea market was held on Sunday 26 April 2026 on Rue des Violettes in Pertuis. Neighbourhood event open to private sellers, with typical attendance of these popular South Luberon flea markets. Hunters from Pertuis and neighbouring villages, spring atmosphere, free admission.
On 26 April 2026, Rue des Violettes transformed into an open-air market. Residents of Pertuis, La Bastidonne, Villelaure and South Luberon villages enjoyed a spring day of neighbourhood bargain hunting. Children's clothing, toys, books, tableware, baby items. Next edition spring 2027.
