Every first Tuesday of August, the historic center of Treignac transforms into a vast bargain hunting market. About a hundred exhibitors take over the streets and squares of this medieval town to offer visitors a varied range of second-hand items: furniture, trinkets, books, clothes, toys, and curiosities of all kinds. This summer event attracts bargain hunters from all over northern Corrèze and the Millevaches plateau.

Perched on a rocky outcrop overlooking the Vézère gorges, the town retains an exceptional medieval heritage: turreted houses from the 15th and 16th centuries, an old stone bridge, the Notre-Dame-des-Bans church, the Chapelle des Pénitents, and steep alleys lined with old houses.
