About Trébas Flea Market

In the heart of the Tarn valley, Trébas-les-Bains hosts its traditional summer flea market, jointly organised by MJC Trébas Curvalle and Trébas Football Club. In front of the village hall, exhibitors unpack at dawn for an open-air bargain-hunting day, punctuated by swims in the Tarn and the colours of Tarn summer. An emblematic event on the riverbank, in a rural and touristy setting.

Trébas-les-Bains, jewel of the Tarn valley

Tucked into the Tarn valley, halfway between Albi and Lacaune, Trébas is a quiet, bright village crossed by the river that once gave it its thermal reputation. "Trébas-les-Bains" still evokes the former baths and the gentleness of a preserved environment between Gaillac vineyards, Ségala and the first foothills of the Monts de Lacaune. In this special setting, the village's big flea market is held every summer.

An association-run flea market

The event is jointly organised by MJC Trébas Curvalle and Trébas Football Club, two pillars of local community life. This double leadership ensures strong volunteer mobilisation and helps fund some of the village's sports and cultural activities. Exhibitors can unload from 6:30 AM, and the market extends in front of the village hall and the surrounding streets for the day.

What to find there

As in most rural Tarn flea markets, private sellers dominate. Clothes, crockery, toys, books, vinyl, linen, small furniture, tools, decorative items and family bric-à-brac make up most stalls. Some skilled hunters sometimes find local pottery, old tools or objects linked to life on the Tarn (fishing, basketry, river boats). External food vendors are not allowed; catering is run by the organising associations.

A festival by the Tarn

The atmosphere is that of beautiful Tarn summer days: hunt in the open air, stop at the bar run by the MJC and the football club, extend the morning with a riverside walk or a swim. Trébas's flea market combines the charm of authentic bargain hunting with that of a peaceful tourist village in one of the prettiest sections of the Tarn valley.

Trébas Flea Market — edition 2026

The 2026 Trébas flea market is expected around Sunday 16 August 2026, in front of the village hall. Private sellers, summer atmosphere on the banks of the Tarn, catering by the organising associations: an emblematic event of the Tarn valley. Date to be confirmed with the MJC and Trébas Football Club.
