2025 Edition of the Vide Grenier de Saint-Sernin
In spring 2025, the Vide Grenier de Saint-Sernin once again enlivened the heart of this southern Ardèche village. Faithful to this annual event, exhibitors and visitors gathered in the streets and squares of the village center for a day of bargain hunting and conviviality characteristic of village car boot sales.
The stalls offered a wide variety of second-hand goods: clothing and accessories for all ages, furniture and decorative items, tableware and kitchen utensils, books and comics, toys and board games, tools and gardening equipment, trinkets, and bric-a-brac. The exhibitors, mostly individuals from the village and neighboring towns, had emptied their attics and storage rooms for the occasion, offering bargain hunters an eclectic selection conducive to discoveries.
The free entry for visitors and the friendly village atmosphere contributed to making this 2025 edition a pleasant moment for all participants. The exhibitor fee of €2 per meter allowed many individuals to take part in the event without financial barriers, thus reinforcing the popular and accessible nature of the Saint-Sernin car boot sale.
