The Vide-Grenier de Rouillac takes over the Place du Champ de Foire every April, a vast square that has hosted the town's fairs and markets for centuries. From 6 am to 7 pm, exhibitors set up their stalls on this historic square, offering treasure hunters a full day of great deals.

Rouillac, capital of Charente's fairs

Rouillac is a commune in the Charente region, located halfway between Angoulême and Cognac, known throughout the region for its tradition of fairs. The famous Foire du 27, held on the 27th of each month since the Middle Ages, makes it one of the most commercially active towns in the department. The annual car boot sale is a natural continuation of this long trading tradition.

A wide selection of second-hand items

The car boot sale offers a diverse range of items: furniture, crockery, clothing, toys, books, knick-knacks, tools, and all sorts of objects. Individuals and professionals mingle in the Place du Champ de Foire, in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere that characterizes Rouillac's events.

FC Rouillac, a committed organizer

The event is organized by FC Rouillac, the town's football club. The profits from the event help fund the club's sports activities. A refreshment stand and a food area are run by FC Rouillac volunteers.
