Annual car boot sale in Quedillac, new municipality of Mézières-sur-Couesnon in Pays de Brocéliande
The Quedillac car boot sale brings together exhibitors and bargain hunters every year in the heart of this former town in Pays de Brocéliande, now part of Mézières-sur-Couesnon. Individuals offer clothes, toys, crockery, trinkets, tools, and flea market items in a rustic and friendly atmosphere.
The Quedillac car boot sale is a popular spring event for bargain hunters in the west of Ille-et-Vilaine. Private sellers set up in the village streets to offer a wide range of second-hand items: clothes, toys, trinkets, crockery, books, garden tools, small furniture, and flea market finds. The atmosphere is that of an authentic Breton village car boot sale, where people take their time to rummage and negotiate.
Quedillac is a village of about 1,800 inhabitants, formerly a commune now integrated into the new municipality of Mézières-sur-Couesnon, within the community of communes of Saint-Méen Montauban. Located 45 km west of Rennes, on the road to Saint-Méen-le-Grand, the village is set in a hilly hedgerow landscape at the gates of the legendary forest of Brocéliande. Local heritage includes the Saint-Pierre church, the Saint-Fiacre fountain, and several rural manors scattered in the surrounding countryside.
The Quedillac car boot sale charms visitors with its bucolic setting and village atmosphere. Visitors combine bargain hunting with a stroll through the village alleys. The refreshment stand offers galettes-saucisses and crêpes, essential Breton treats. Admission is free.
The Quedillac car boot sale returns on April 6, 2026.
