EVS Car boot sale of Médréac

55 exhibitors in the multisports hall

Every March, the EVS of Médréac organizes a friendly car boot sale in the multisports hall of the village. Around 55 private exhibitors set up their stalls to offer clothes, toys, books, trinkets, crockery, small appliances, and various second-hand items. The indoor event allows for comfortable bargain hunting at the end of winter, in a warm, village atmosphere. Shoppers from the canton of Montauban-de-Bretagne and surrounding areas faithfully gather here every year.

Médréac, a charming village in the Breton countryside

Médréac is a commune of about 1,800 inhabitants located northwest of Ille-et-Vilaine, in the Pays de Montauban-de-Bretagne. The village is set in a landscape of rolling countryside, between moors and forests, halfway between Rennes and Saint-Brieuc. The commune has charming rural heritage: granite church, wayside crosses, washhouses, and traditional farms. Local associations are active, driven by volunteers who animate the village throughout the year.

An early season car boot sale

The EVS car boot sale of Médréac opens the car boot sale season in Ille-et-Vilaine. It's an opportunity to clear out spring items or find the first bargains of the year. A refreshment stand and crêpes complete the welcome in the purest Breton tradition. Entry is free.
