Vide-Grenier de Palaja

On Thursday, May 1st, 2025, the village of Palaja hosted its annual car boot sale, taking advantage of the May Day public holiday to bring together sellers and visitors in a festive and relaxed atmosphere. In the main square, private stalls offered bargain hunters from the Carcassonne region a fine selection of second-hand items at affordable prices.

The variety of items on display satisfied all tastes: tableware and dinner sets, books and comics, clothing and shoes for the whole family, toys and board games, trinkets and decorative objects, and some small furniture. The festive atmosphere of May 1st, in the pleasant setting of this Aude village just a stone's throw from Carcassonne, gave this 2025 edition a particularly friendly character.

The Vide-Grenier de Palaja returns on May 1st, 2026. Residents of Carcassonne and the surrounding areas are invited to take advantage of this public holiday to come and hunt for treasures in this village near the medieval Cité.
