Vide-Grenier de Noves

The Vide-Grenier de Noves once again brought together locals and visitors in the heart of this Provençal village nestled between Avignon and the Alpilles, in the Durance valley. The 2025 edition, organized in June, allowed individuals to offer their everyday items — Provençal dishes and pottery, books and comics, clothing and accessories, toys and board games, trinkets and decorative objects — at attractive prices for passing treasure hunters.

The exceptional setting of Noves, the birthplace of Laure de Noves immortalized by Petrarch in his Canzoniere, contributed to the charm of this day. Visitors could stroll among the stalls while admiring the medieval heritage of the town: the 12th-century ramparts, the Porte Aurose, the Romanesque church Saint-Baudile listed as a Historic Monument, and the Porte de l'Horloge which marks the center of the village. Refreshments and light catering completed this friendly day under the Provençal sun.

The Vide-Grenier de Noves is scheduled again for June 1, 2026. Treasure hunters and sellers from the Bouches-du-Rhône are expected in large numbers for this next edition in the remarkable setting of this historic village in the Durance valley.
