Every last Sunday of April, the village of Luzinay transforms into a huge open-air flea market. With up to 800 exhibitors spread throughout the village streets, the Luzinay car boot sale is one of the most important events in Isère in this regard. More than 3,500 visitors browse the aisles in search of hidden treasures.

30 years of tradition

In 2025, the Luzinay car boot sale celebrated its 30th anniversary, proof of the longevity and success of this event. For three decades, RC La Sévenne, the local rugby club, has organized this event which has become a must-attend date in the calendar for bargain hunters in the Rhône valley and North-Isère.

RC La Sévenne uses this event to fund the club's activities. Club players and volunteers ensure the logistical organization, the refreshment stand, and catering. This car boot sale is a great example of synergy between associative sports life and community events.

Luzinay, a village between Vienne and Lyon

Luzinay is a commune of 4,500 inhabitants located between Vienne and Lyon, in North-Isère. The village, which has retained its rural character despite its proximity to major roads, offers a pleasant setting for this day of bargain hunting.
